what we've been up to...

After a sudden need to relocate, we ended up moving into my parents’ basement. With a newborn and two dogs, it wasn’t our ideal situation. We decided to turn it into a positive experience by saving money to purchase our first home!

Moving wasn’t the only adjustment we had to make in 2020. We had a lot of plans we’ve had to cancel or reschedule.

Cadence is now a year old! I’d say she is thriving, considering her limited outings and socialization! She, Eli and Olive love living in a house full of people.

why we reconstructed our blog..

We revamped our blog because our vision changed. Because our rent payment decreased significantly, we were able to save money more easily. As rewarding as being frugal was, we felt less motivation to keep a tight budget. (Don’t get us wrong, we love a great deal and will be sharing the ones we find here!)

Instead, we’ll be taking the blog in a more personal direction. We’ll be sharing some of our favorite moments, some new recipes we’ve created, any products we love…basically, if you’ve been wondering how we’re doing, here’s the place to find out!
